      Wreath-Making Workshop with Laurel Botanicals

      'Tis the season and it's time to get festive!  Join us for this creative and oh so fragrant evening learning the art of wreath making. In this workshop you will be guided through the process of building your own wreath using fresh and fragrant winter foliage grown and foraged by Glory on her farm in Madera.  You’ll learn how to select the right greenery to make your wreath last and hold its beauty, and if you're feeling fancy will have the option to add in focal pieces such as berries, pinecones, and dehydrated citrus.  All the foliage is grown sustainably, without the use of chemicals by Glory and her family at Laurel Botanicals in Madera county. This workshop includes: An abundant variety of fresh cut and sustainably grown foliage Wire wreath frame  Floral Wire Sips and Snacks! ABOUT THE ARTIST: Glory is a 3rd generation horticulturist, whose work stems from a deeply rooted love for plants and the botanical world. She lives is rural Madera County where she grows flowers alongside a rich variety of vegetables, herbs, ornamental trees, and shrubs. Her farm and business Laurel Botanicals, prides themselves in growing flowers sustainably, without the use of harmful chemicals or heavy equipment, with the goal of improving the soil for generations to come. She sells her flowers at the Vineyard Farmer’s Market in Fresno, and does floral design for weddings and events locally.  Glory is constantly inspired by nature and her designs reflect that with their form and seasonality. Her intention with the work that she does is to help bring people closer to nature and the cycles of the seasons, to share its beauty with others, and to strive for the regeneration of both the land and the human spirit. PLEASE NOTE: Class must meet minimum capacity of 5 participants. If less than 5 spaces are sold, Root and Glory Warner reserves the right to cancel the class and issue a refund to those who have already signed up. Refund can be issued up to 7 days before the event if participants cancels.  PRO TIPS: Make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early to grab a snack, mingle, and settle in as we will start promptly. Metered street parking is available on Fulton street in front of the shop. Meters are FREE after 6pm & on weekends! Get ready to shop!
